Summary

We are seeking an HVAC Technician, Plumber and Electrician to join our team at E&J Electric and Geothermal, Inc. These roles are vital in ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and electrical systems for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will contribute directly to our mission of providing top-notch service and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and/or electrical systems in residential, commercial and agricultural settings - both new construction and existing structures.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Diagnose issues with electrical, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC, plumbing & electrical technology.
• Some ground work related to but not limited to boring and trenching depending on the scope of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call
• Overtime
• Year round work

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay

Ability to Commute:

• Solon, IA 52333 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Solon, IA 52333: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Required Experience:

Field service experience is highly desirable - trade licensed preferred (Journeyman or greater), but willing to contribute to further training to help obtain license.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and means of transportation
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Willingness to work long hours, including rotating on call assignments.
• Ability to take direction to work alone as well as in a team setting.
