Job Description:

Position Title: General Contracting Site SuperintendentWhat we need: Seneca Companies is currently seeking General Contracting Site Superintendent. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing area within our family owned and operated business directly supporting the organizations where you may frequent for you fuel and convenience needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct supervision of all field personnel, service and construction projects and handles field problem solving and project decision-making activities as needed.
  • Monitors all personnel on site (employees and sub contractors) to ensure compliance with OSHA safety practices.
  • Develops and maintains strong clientele relationships while understanding their needs.
  • Maintains project budgets and schedules.
  • Communicates daily with project managers, contractors, and/or design professionals to resolve construction problems and provide progress updates.
  • Inspects projects for quality and compliance with building/safety codes and/or regulations.
  • Travel to site weekly both in state and out of state. (Typically, Monday through Friday)
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you need to have:

  • 5+ years of construction experience within a leadership capacity.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment and machines as described.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office products.

  • Class A CDL.
